Hello Julia and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
HEY THERE! I'm the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Dragon Guard Series. I;m a asometimes sarcastic, always southern woman that would rather spend all day laughing than a minute crying. I have two of the most amazing daughters ever created, a menagerie of animals and a voracious appetite for reading. I decided to write the stories running through my brain and I have to admit I'm having an absolute blast!! I read her first book, Dr Suess' Cat in The Hat at four years old and has been hooked ever since.
I believe a good book along with shoes, makeup and purses will never let a girl down. I know for a fact that all heroes in all the books I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my hero, my dad! I'm a sucker for a happy ending and loves some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.
I'm still working on my story but can guarantee you that it'll contain as much love and laughter as I can cram into it!!!!!
Dare to Dream! Have the Strength to Try EVERYTHING! Never Look Back!

Please Welcome Tasha T to Rukia Publishing with her story ‘Esme’s Grand Design’ and the box set it's included in "Santa's Naughty List".
Hello Tasha T and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
Hello and Merry Christmas!
Let's Get Started!
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing for about a year. I actually was a teacher in my previous life, but retired in 2010. Began editing for a wonderful lady, who just happened to also be an awesome writer. We have been together for three years now. She encouraged me to write my first story, Savannah’s Christmas Miracle, last year for a box set. Esme’s Grand Design is my second story and a sequel to the first one
How did you come up with your stories?
I didn’t. They came to me. In dreams and daydreams, the characters began “talking” to me, telling me their stories. My author insisted that I start listening to them. So began the series, which is, as yet, unnamed.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best aspect is realizing that I actually finished a story (or two). When teaching writing to elementary school students, the teacher doesn’t always perfect his/her own story. For the first time ever, I was able to do that.
The worst aspect is making the ideas in my head appear on paper or screen. I rewrite as I go because sometimes my ideas seem so lame, so dead. Finding the right combination of words to describe a person or scene was incredibly hard for me.
What inspires you to write?
I read constantly. As I read, I will sometimes have ideas start forming in my mind. When I start writing, I like to be near a window or door to see life going on around me. Sometimes the simplest things have a way of turning into the inspiration I need to begin, or complete, a scene or conversation.
How did you conduct your research for –"Esme’s Grand Design"?
Read, read, read!
What would your friends say is your best quality?
Loyalty.
Are reader reviews important to you?
I am new to writing, but I have seen what a good, or bad, review can do for, or to, other writers. My very first review was not well-done. I didn’t know how to give constructive criticism, only criticism. I can now see that I could have very easily have convinced that writer that they were not good enough to have readers care about their work. After reading, and analyzing, hundreds of reviews since that one, I know better how to offer suggestions that might help the author improve their work. Just because I don’t like something, doesn’t mean it’s not good. It just might not be to my own taste. As reviewers, we need to learn that lesson. As writers, we hope others have learned it.
Do you have any blogs/websites?
No, not yet.
What do you do when you don’t write?
Read, read, read!
Tell us about your other books?
None at this time.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be? If a retired Math teacher can learn to write, so can you. Find family and friends who will be encouraging. Stay away from the nay-sayers, even if they are family. While you write, you can make your own negativity. Don’t go looking for it. Be encouraged by those who choose to encourage you. The ones who believe in you can help you through the hard stuff.
May you find your own Guardian Angel!

Best Selling Author ~C.D. Gorri~ On The Tenth Day, my bad boy gave to me...Meet The Author of "Charley’s Christmas Wolf" C.D. Gorri "So what now? You bite me and I’m a Werewolf too?"
Hi all! I write YA/NA and Adult Paranormal Romance. I have five ebooks available at this time. Wolf Moon, Hunter Moon, and Rebel Moon are the first three installments in my Grazi Kelly Novel series featuring teen heroine Maria Graziana Kelly. Casting Magic, the Angela Tanner Files #1 is the first novella in a spin-off series, it is available #free on Kindle Unlimited. I am currently working on the fourth novel in my Grazi Kelly series, Winter Moon, which I hope to release soon. Charley’s Christmas Wolf is the first in my Macconwood Pack series and is in Santa's Naughty List, 25 Tales Of Paranormal Bad Boys!
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Montclair State University. I attended Catholic school from grades K-12 and am the youngest of six daughters born to Italian parents.
I currently live in my home state of New Jersey with my husband, my children, and my dog.
It has always been my dream to be an author and I am proud to say I am currently writing a teen/YA paranormal fiction series. My eBooks, Wolf Moon: A Grazi Kelly Novel # 1, Hunter Moon: A Grazi Kelly Novel # 2, and Rebel Moon: A Grazi Kelly Novel # 3 are available now. Casting Magic: The Angela Tanner Files #1 is currently on Amazon only.
I am happy to announce the launch of my new Adult Paranormal series, featuring the Macconwood Pack, this winter.
I am currently working on book 4 of the Grazi Kelly series, Winter Moon. I am hoping to have it available this winter as well.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
Well, I self-published my first book in 2014. I’ve been an avid reader since grade school and it was always my dream to write. I remember being captivated by the written word since I could read. I have been writing for myself for years. Things like short stories, outlines for possible books, journal entries, and even some bad poetry, but it wasn’t until I had children that I felt true inspiration. I wanted to write something that my own children could identify with, relate to, and of course I wanted to entertain them.
How did you come up with your stories?
My first series is YA paranormal story featuring teen heroine Grazi Kelly. Each following series, The Angela Tanner Files and the adult paranormal Macconwood Pack Series are all part of her universe. Grazi has been whispering around my brain for years, the other characters and storylines just sort of followed. I took things I know something about, NJ, Italian cooking, Catholic school and used all of them and more in my works.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best aspect of writing for me is when I am editing and I’m all like, wow, did I really write that? I mean we all suffer from self-doubt and that is certainly one of the low points of being a writer or working in any of the creative arts. I imagine the most difficult aspect of writing for me is when the inspiration just won’t come and it feels more like a chore than the joy it actually is for me. Whenever that happens I just take a little time out, play with my kids, go for a walk, or cook something yummy up in the kitchen.
What inspires you to write?
I find inspiration everywhere. My husband, my children, my friends, books, music, TV, Church, politicians, trips to the doctor or grocery store. I use it all. It’s all a part of life. I write to entertain and maybe, hopefully, to teach, after all that is what storytellers do.
How did you conduct your research for Charley’s Christmas Wolf?
I consider myself an info junky, I love reading about all sorts of things. Like I mentioned before, all of my works are part of the same Grazi Kelly Universe and when I was researching Wolf Moon I started with her living in New Jersey. It is my home state and I love it. She is raised by her Italian, Catholic grandmother. I come from an Italian family and was raised Catholic, etc... So I guess what I am saying is I started with some things I knew something about, then I added more. I read some Irish Werewolf Folklore, some Catholic legends, and they too became part of my story. I researched online and in books I happened to own about the occult.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“Oh, okay, they were only doing what was best. Excuse me, where are my manners? How dare I express outrage at being kidnapped! So what now? You bite me and I’m a Werewolf too? We go howl at the moon and chase rabbits?,” she tried to not sound hysterical.”
What would your friends say is your best quality?
Ooh, that’s a tough one. They would probably say I’m great at getting things done. I have no patience for waiting for someone to do things for me, I figure if it needs getting done then I can just do it myself.
Are reader reviews important to you?
Well, this is tricky. Indie authors depend on reviews for sales and publicity, so, yes, they are very important to me. I am a writer. If I want to succeed I need reviews.
Do I care what my readers think of my works?
Yes, I do. They are my audience and I have a very deep appreciation for their comments and a desire to write well for them.
Do I get angry or upset when faced with a negative review?
No. It is not a pleasant experience, but I understand that not everyone is a fan. Besides constructive criticism can be a good thing. It can help me grow as a writer.
I spend time with my family, I cook, garden (well I try), watch TV (right now I am re-watching Buffy <3).
Tell us about your other books?
The Grazi Kelly Novel Series is the story of Maria Graziana Kelly and her journey as she discovers she is not just an ordinary girl, but a Werewolf. In her journeys she discovers friendship, her first crush, magic, power, the truth about her parents, and maybe even true love. The Angela Tanner Files stars her curvy-girl best friend, Angela Tanner. Angela is a Witch who has not come into her powers yet, but things go full speed ahead when her father is accused of a crime he did not commit. Enter Jody Nieves. The tall, dark, and powerful Guardian who is sent to help her as she tries to clear her father's name. He does more than that, he wakes up a part of her she never dreamed existed. Angela will continue to explore her true magic nature in this series. Charley's Christmas Wolf is the first in my Macconwood Pack series! We are first introduced to Rafe and his Wolves in Hunter Moon: A Grazi Kelly Novel #2. This story features Pack Alpha Rafe Maccon and his unsuspecting mate, Charley Palmieri!
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
Well folks, if you don’t know me I intend on writing for a very long time so hopefully you will look me up and give Grazi’s world a try!
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Montclair State University. I attended Catholic school from grades K-12 and am the youngest of six daughters born to Italian parents.

Thank you so much for your time. Grazi’s universe is evolving and growing with every word I write. These amazing characters have been whispering around my head for years, I only hope I am doing them justice with my writing. Be well and happy reading!

‘Wildest Dream’
Meet The Author of
‘Wildest Dream’ Heather Kirchhoff
'She knows that getting close to anyone could be dangerous, but can she resist the strong urge to allow the stranger in?'
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I started writing in seventh grade. I wanted to make others feel what I did when reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead and Evermore by Alyson Noel sealed the deal for me.
How did you come up with your stories? I come up with new stories every day it seems like. It can be as simple as listening to music or going for a walk or just thinking of something that makes an idea spark.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best is sitting down and creating a world. I’m not too sure what the worst could be, but I suppose it’s when I can’t think of how to describe something. Like it’s there in my mind, but I can’t put it to paper, and that can be frustrating.
What inspires you to write?
Anything can.
How did you conduct your research for –Wildest Dream?
Well, I looked up succubus and got a bit more information than I knew of from that.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
Snow falls freely all around me, clinging to the limbs of trees, and dusting the ground with sparkling white. I smile to myself as I watch the snowflakes glide down. The hills of trees to my right side are covered in snow, making the usually breathtaking hills even more so.
He makes me feel what no one else has, and I’m interested to find out more. I’m interested to figure out what has me drawn to him like a moth to a light.
The dark blue makes my black eyes pop. My long eyelashes curl upwards, thick with volume. My cheeks looks flushed against my golden-brown skin, which makes my cheek bones look even sharper than they really are. My lips have a soft pink coating on them. My brown hair frames my oval shaped face; a little bit is cascading over one shoulder while the rest falls behind me.
When I’m not writing, I’m working at a nursing home, reading, editing, or spending time with my family and animals.
Tell us about your other books?
The Last Night is about a girl who gets pushed too far. My Magic series is about a powerful teenager. My short story, Fading, is about a sixteen-year-old who has cancer.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I’m always interested in hearing from readers.
Thanks for interviewing me!

‘The Wolf of Christmas Future’
Meet The Author of
‘The Wolf of Christmas Future’ Danielle James
'Kian was a player to the end, but when he wakes up seven hundred years in the future in the home of a beautiful human woman, everything changes.'
Danielle James lives in Owensboro, KY with her fiance and beautiful children. Reading has always been a favorite pastime and shares her love for books with her family. She has written several novels, including Into the Fire and Justified. Romance is her favorite genre, but also enjoys a good suspense or horror novel.
Please Welcome Danielle James to Rukia Publishing with her story ‘A Wolf Of Christmas Future’ and the box set it's included in "Santa's Naughty List".
Hello Danielle and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
Hi! I am Danielle James, author of the Forbidden Love Series and the Keepers of Hell Series. Paranormal romance is my true passion, but I am branching out! Let's Get Started!
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I started writing in 2010. My first book, Dark Angel, was published by a small press before I bought my rights back and went into self publishing. It is now known as Out of the Dark. I started writing as an escape from the real world. It was a rough time in my life and writing allowed me to make up my own world.
How did you come up with your stories?
I don’t really know how to answer that one. They just come to me. Sometimes my characters talk to me, other times I just see scenes play out in my head.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best aspects are the characters. Each and every one of them becomes a part of me and part of my family. I love to hear fans feedback and I love to hear that somehow, the words I typed out helped someone else along the way. The worst part is block. We all get it. Getting out of writer’s block is a pain.
What inspires you to write?
It’s a part of me. Sometimes a song or a real life situation will start the wheels turning. How did you conduct your research for –__The Wolf Of Christmas Future___? For this title, I didn’t have to do much research since it is set seven hundred years in the future. I let my imagination go wild because no one knows what will happen or what will be the norm in the future.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“Twenty-seven-mother-fu***ng-fifteen??”
“You want me to do what with that?”
“There’s a freaking tornado in your shower!”
-All of those from my main character, Kian.
What would your friends say is your best quality?
I am always willing to do what I can to help a friend.
Where to start!! The Forbidden Love Series is about a band of rock star vampires and how they find their mates in a world where supernaturals live out in the open. The Keepers of Hell series is about a man who made a deal with a demon and ended up running Hell himself. Now he must find the people who will serve as his guard before demons destroy it all.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I love my fans. All of them.
Thank you for listening to me!
On The Fifteenth Day, my bad boy gave to me...

Hello Diana Marie and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
Hello all and thank you for such a warm greeting!
Let's Get Started!
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I started writing in 2013 when I began to role play for a popular Facebook group. After reading some of my storylines to my dad, he encouraged me to write my own stories.
How did you come up with your stories?
I live in Louisiana so I have plenty of inspiration and I am a huge paranormal junkie.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The Best would be the email I get from readers who love my stories. With anything you do, there will be negativity, that is something that will always be here. You just have to move past it.
What inspires you to write?
Tv shows, my culture, history of New Orleans and magic. How did you conduct your research for –_This particular story A Protector’s Second Chance, I had to research South Africa and yes my character does end up in NOLA. But to make sure I got things correct I read books from the library and pulled up plenty of google maps.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“Come on, Jurnee. Take a ride with me and let the motorcycle vibrate between your legs and take you places you’ve never been before.” He winked at me.
“Oh geez, you are like every other guy. I doubt that is what you want vibrating between my legs.
Quickly I turned back to human and stood there naked. “Damn it to hell, man, put some damn clothes on,” Cayne said as he threw my jeans and cut at me.
What do you do when you don’t write? Work and spend time with my four legged companions.
Tell us about your other books?
My first book Voodoo Vows is about a witch and the Cajun werewolf a Rougaroux. In the mix is a magical Great Dane who has gotten her own series, starting with Bred by Magic.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I am a lover of old music, black and white movies. I grew up with a mother who raised me on the oldies, so I have a very eclectic taste.
Thank You Diana Marie! It was great to meet you and get to know you. Good luck with your writing!
Thank you for this interview. I hope you will enjoy ‘A Protector's Second Chance, A Christmas Miracle’ as much I enjoyed writing it.
Our Fourteenth Story for December 14th
Meet The Author of
‘The Widow Mate’ Stephanie Maycott To Mate means leaving all he knows behind, his entire world behind him.
Good day all from England. My name is Stephanie Maycott and I am new to the author world.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing? I have been writing on and off since I was a child. I decided to become an author when I wrote my ideas down and when someone close read them, said person wanted them to be published. It took a little while for me to get my head around the fact that my ramblings were good, better than good.
How did you come up with your stories? I have a background in the Army as my father is a Veteran and so is my partner. I also love shifters. This is an odd one as the shifter within the novel is a lizard. I have always wanted to write about an albino and so I did in this, an Albino Lizard shifter. I chose what many think is the hardest Officer role to write about, a Special Ops specialist, as their entire life is a lie. But I enjoyed the challenge. I came up with this while speaking to my partner about the different ranks in the military and what I wanted my character to do and his back story.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing? The worst part about writing is editing your own work and thankfully someone helped me with that. The best part about writing is actually writing the novella.
What inspires you to write? I get my inspiration from the world around me.
How did you conduct your research for ‘The Widow Mate’? By talking to my partner about what Special operations does and I sent this off to a beta reader who was in the military to read, to make sure it was all correct.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release? ‘As he did, my usual calm came over me, my emotions going with my lizard.’ ‘My prick jumped, my Lizard wanting to sink into her and to fuck her until she screamed, but I shook my head to get rid of the haze. I knew I could not go back to work.’ ‘We washed one another. Afterwards, she dressed in a slim red dress. My eyes were drawn to the stomach were the material hugged it, almost straining.’
What would your friends say is your best quality? My problem solving.
Are reader reviews important to you? Yes, as this is my first release but ask me next year and you might get a different answer.
Do you have any blogs/websites? Not at the moment, I do not.
What do you do when you don’t write? I read other works of fiction and edit what I have written.
Tell us about your other books? I do not have any other books out at the moment as this is my debut release.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be? I am disabled but that gives me a unique insight into the world of disability.
Thank you for reading this. I hope you will enjoy ‘The Widow Mate’ as much I enjoyed writing it.
December 13th~Day 13 of 25
Meet The Author of
‘A Stag’s Claim’ Georgiana Pallett To resist his Mate would leave a hole in his heart and a thorn in his side for forever more.
Good day from England. My name is Georgiana Pallett and I am a very new author. I have just published my debut book ‘A Stag’s Claim’ in ‘Santa’s Naughty List’.
I am from England, I have lived here all my life and I have been writing for most of that too. I have a fascination with anything historical and so I thought that my first release should be a historical one.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing for some years now. I started to write as I had ideas in my mind that I wanted to write. So I did. I decided to become an author as I had ideas and they would not leave me be so I wrote them out of my head. Someone saw me writing and read some of my work, saying it was very good. I did not believe them till others read it and told me I had a talent for writing.
How did you come up with your stories?
I get my ideas from anything and everything around me, from images, to television, to a comment or a phrase, to other works I read and some are just concoctions from my imagination.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
I love it all, even the editing.
What inspires you to write?
My inspiration comes from anything and everything around me.
How did you conduct your research for A Stag’s Claim’?
I have books on history, all sorts of things from clothes to social etiquette. But I also use the internet and I double check and triple check the facts I get from the internet as not everything on the internet is checked.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“ I can take the pain my Lord, just Claim me as yours.” “ I can’t be the first Alvina. Macon needs to be the first, not me.” “ Touch yourself.”
What would your friends say is your best quality?
I am loving and caring.
Are reader reviews important to you?
I would say they are as the more 4/5 stars you get, the more exposure you get.
Do you have any blogs/websites?
I do not have any blogs or websites at this moment in time.
What do you do when you don’t write?
I do needlepoint and some of them are cross-stitch, tapestry and embroidery.
Tell us about your other books?
As it stands at present, I do not have any other books released or even in progress.

Thank you for being here with me today. I hope you have enjoyed what you have read today.
December 12th~Day 12 of 25
Meet The Author of
‘His Client, His Mate’ Samantha Laverell "A Mate so sweet and innocent he cannot resist her."
Good day all from England. My name is Samantha Laverell and today I will be talking about my debut release of ‘His Client, His Mate’, the first in the ‘Shapeshifting Escorts’.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing? I have been writing since I was a young child but I did not start up writing religiously till I was 16, seven years ago. It started out as boredom and then I got the bug so to speak and have not been able to stop. This is my first novella so you could say I have only been an author for a few months.
How did you come up with your stories?
Well I have been a reader for a very long time. I know some subjects are not talked about and so I wanted to change that so my debut book and my debut series are about ‘Shapeshifting Escorts’. And the shapeshifting side of things, I just love them. The Horse element, the Horse Shifter, came about because I have not read one yet myself. The phrase ‘hung like a horse’ comes to mind and Escorts certainly know how to use their equipment.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best aspect of writing is finishing a book. The worst is the torrent of emotions a writer goes through to write it. We laugh and cry with our characters. We live through them.
What inspires you to write?
Absolutely anything.
How did you conduct your research for ‘His Client, His Mate’?
I conducted interviews with men and women alike that are in this line of work, and those that used to be to make it as authentic as possible.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“ Ailein McAdams, a born Scotsman. I will be escorting you, no arguments.” he said, controlling his voice. He hid behind the door, waiting for her. He heard her approach, his dick throbbing under the kilt, tenting the material more. He heard the door open and he pulled her close, falling against the corner of the room. “ Ooooh, it sounds appealing.”
What would your friends say is your best quality?
My honesty.
Are reader reviews important to you?
As this is my debut, I think they are important as to get people to read. We learn what our readers like and do not like through the reviews. They have already helped me with deciding how to write the Scottish lilt in the next in the series.
Do you have any blogs/websites?
Not at the moment.
What do you do when you don’t write?
I make clothes as I have a unique fashion sense.
Tell us about your other books? I have no other books to tell you about as this is my debut and I am as yet to start book 2.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I do not follow the crowd. I am my own person.
Thank you for reading this and I hope you will enjoy ‘His Client, His Mate’, part of ‘Santa’s Naughty List’ and the books of mine to come. Good day all.
December 11th~Day 11 of 25
Meet The Author of
"An Incubus’ Mate" Daniella Whitehorse 'She finds love in the last place she thought to look and with an Incubus at that.'
Good day all from England. My name is Daniella Whitehorse and I am the author of ‘An Incubus’ Mate’, the first in the ‘Mate’ Series.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing for many a year but only recently did I decide to try and publish my work, so an author from ‘Santa’s Naughty List’ came to me via Facebook and asked if I would like to write and publish with the set. I obviously accepted.
How did you come up with your stories?
I am disabled and I cannot work in the conventional way so I decided to try and publish my ideas, ideas I get from my Sleep Paralysis, a condition which means my body goes into paralysis before and after sleep. I come up with most of my ideas when I am in that state as I think of ideas to keep me from 'climbing the walls'.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
I love all aspects of writing, from getting the first idea, to writing, to editing, to formatting.
What inspires you to write?
I write because I want to. I get inspiration from life.
How did you conduct your research for An Incubus’ Mate?
I love mythology so I already knew much about an Incubus and the female version, a Succubus. I chose what I wanted out of the mythology out there and created Gawain Merrick, a wealthy Welsh Incubus. I also know much about Witches and Psychics as I have grown up around them all my life.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
‘I stood to greet my guest. The door opened and a man stepped in. He was in a suit and I could have sworn that I met him before. He shuddered and looked at me. I could have sworn that his eyes were red for moment.’
‘ “ Feed me.” he breathed.’
‘ “ You - lay - a - hand - on – her – and – I – will – kill – you.” ‘
What would your friends say is your best quality?
I am protective, very protective of my family and friends.
Are reader reviews important to you?
Yes they are as they help publicity and sales but to me personally they are not. I do this for pleasure. If people do not like my style of writing or what I write, then they know where to go.
Do you have any blogs/websites?
At this point in time, I do not. But I will do soon, I hope.
What do you do when you don’t write?
I make things when I do not write.
Tell us about your other books?
At this point in time I only have ideas for the rest of the series, I have not written them, nor know which one I will write next.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I am a Wiccan Priestess and a Druidess and I love everything paranormal.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this interview. I hope that you enjoyed my debut book and I hope you will stay with me till the very end.
December 10th~Day 10 of 25
Meet The Author of "Gateway: The Meeting" Dariel Raye An ancient being, the last of his kind, a fiery woman sought by evil…and the story begins…
Hope everyone is having a joyous holiday season! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to talk about my novella in the “Santa’s Naughty List” boxed-set. “Gateway: The Meeting” is part one of the “Gateway” trilogy, and it’s my first full story written in first person.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing? I started writing in grade school, as soon as I learned to put pencil to paper. I won writing competitions along the way for fiction and non-fiction, but didn’t consider writing as a profession until much later, following a divorce.
How did you come up with your stories?
Most of my characters come to me in dreams, and I build stories and worlds around them according to the way they present themselves.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
My favorite aspects of writing are the means of escape my stories provide for both me and my readers, and nothing makes me happier than sharing them and hearing that my readers enjoy them.
The worst aspects of writing are shared by all of the arts – subjectivity and constant, often unrealistic scrutiny. In addition to that, the challenge of getting the word out about our books and developing a loyal readership can seem insurmountable at times because the market is over-flooded.
What inspires you to write?
Definitely the escape factor J I also really enjoy getting to know my characters better as they evolve.
How did you conduct your research for –_”Gateway: The Meeting”?
The library is one of my best friends. LOL I use the internet for preliminary research, then check hard-copy sources for accuracy. This time, “The Apocrypha,” (I have my own copy of it), and historical accounts of the Middle Ages gave me the information I needed.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
Red and green. Every freaking year I am bombarded by these hideous reminders… I’d never done anything like this, so wild and spontaneous and maybe even a little dangerous, but I was drawn to him. My body still convulsed with carnal pleasure, my mind a war-ravaged wasteland, completely powerless to control my body’s response as pieces of my soul started to find their way back to me, forming some semblance of order. I would never be the same.
Sing, teach piano and voice, tutor algebra and statistics, play with my pets, play instruments, read, and do my best to keep up with “real” life ;-)
Tell us about your other books?
I have 3 series right now: “Dark Sentinels” (Books one (“Sable”), two (“Torin”), and the prequel are available now, and book three will be available in 2016), “Lifegivers” (Book one is in the “Mystical Magical Love” boxed set. Book two will be available in 2016), and “Orlosian Warriors” (“Calm Assurance,” book one in the series is available now, and book two will be available February, 2016).
Finally, I have a flash fiction collection for my Readers’ List members, and a serial for my new release newsletter members: “Flash Fantasies” and “A & D’s B & B” respectively.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
Hmm. One thing is hard to decide on, so…let’s just say I enjoy hearing from them.
Thanks for taking the time to chat with me and share some of my work.

I think I came out of the womb with a pen and notebook in my hands! LOL I have always loved reading and writing. It was just something that I always did.

“So, you won’t bite?” “Not unless you want me to, Kitten.”
“Well, believe me, Boris… I’ll be making myself some stakes…just in case.” She retorted with a growl, and Colin couldn’t have stopped the grin that curved his lips if he had tried.
“Yes, I can see you not wanting to make it worse by admitting to her that she’s going to be stuck with your ugly mug for the next few hundred years.”

If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
That I am approachable!! LOL!! I had a friend of mine who is a marketer tell me that she has people tell her all the time how much they love my books and love my writing, and she’ll tell them to drop me a line and let me know and they are like…”I can’t do that!” lol. That is so funny to me. I LOVE meeting people. I am just me, and would love to hear from more of my readers!
Thank you all for taking the time to get to know me a little. This has been a riot!
Meet The Author of "Her Big Bad Polar Bear" KD Jones
'The moment Andy Johnson stepped into his office, he knew she would be trouble.'
Thank you so much for this interview.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing? I have been making up stories my whole life. I didn’t publish anything until 2012.
How did you come up with your stories?
I try to think about what I would like to read, what’s missing from what I have already read.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
I love to make up new worlds where the girl gets the guy and good bets evil. I want my stories to make readers feel happy. I hate not having the ability to write full time like I want to. I am a single working mother and hold down a day job. I write every chance I get.
What inspires you to write?
I draw inspiration from everything around me; people, music, movies.

Meet The Author of "The Alpha's Needs" Solease M Barner
'His needs, her desires will be more than one single night!'
Hi it’s me, Solease M Barner! I’m an author of paranormal romance and suspense romance, with surprises coming soon! I'm a big poetry girl and think the Michigan Wolverines are the best, Alumni!!! I love family and think its important and laughing, lots of laughter! I’m a social lady and love to talk. I love cooking and think I’m pretty good. Writing and reading is something I’m obsessed with and happy that I am.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I’ve been writing poetry all my life, but a published author just a little pass four years. I started writing because of a poem I wrote and decided telling a story would fit better. That was the beginning of this amazing journey!
How did you come up with your stories?
My stories come from all sorts of places. My imagination, people, movies I’ve watched, and even just people watching. I don’t limit how an idea comes to me, so I’m always looking and searching!
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best part of writing is expression for me. I love to express my ideas through telling a story! It’s amazing and the best feeling. The idea of being free in writing on what you want, is pretty cool! The worst part of writing is editing, rewrites, editing, writers block, editing, making sure your story makes sense, editing…you get my drift lol
What inspires you to write?
I get inspiration from many sources, experiences, family, friends, music, movies, and most of all imagination!
How did you conduct your research for –”The Alpha’s Needs”?
I set this book in Michigan my home state, and I had to dig out pictures and talk with family members about the specific area. I also done some research on wolf- shifter myths and yes there is a site!

I’m fucked to the first, second and third degree.” Corbin keeps pacing. “Corbin, I’m tired, can you just leave…” “No, I’m not leaving but if you want to sleep, go ahead. Do you have food?” Corbin is not about to allow her to put him out the house. If he has to sleep next to her bed all night, he will. He needs to know how deep his feelings run for her and he needs to know now.
“I’m eating chips because I didn’t cook anything, but by all means, make your demanding self at home and help yourself to my food. After all, I’m only a person you just met tonight.”
“Does the time really matter if you feel connected to someone?” He asks.
What would your friends say is your best quality?
My friends would say my best quality is loyalty. I’m very loyal and think that is the basis of good friendships! It’s also good for business, like writing for instance, I try to stay loyal to my style of writing and putting out books for readers that I would enjoy, not just what is trendy.
Are reader reviews important to you?
Yes, I love hearing from readers. I like the reviews that are good and those who have constrictive criticism. It helps you grow as a author in so many ways, plus you are aware of what the readers like and dislike.

Meet The Author of "The Feeding" James WF Roberts aka: Red Wolf
The Interview
Hi and thanks for having me!
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
For about 12 years, I come from a very talented family of musicians and my mother was a singer and an actress so I guess, it was inevitable that I would be an artist of some kind.
How did you come up with your stories?
I am never sure how I come with ideas for poems or stories, I guess the idea comes into my head and I let the stories and the characters dictate what and how they do things. I try not to plan too much, it just comes out naturally. If that makes any sense.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
One of the best aspects of writing is creating new worlds and new characters that only belong on the page, and in a lot of ways you can control every aspect of the world you create. And of course communicating ideas to a reader or an audience member—writing is a form of communication, that I have always found to be superior to other mediums because there is a relationship between the writer and the reader, you have to meet the writer half way and allow the writer’s ideas to permeate in your own head. One of the worst aspects would be the isolation writer’s kind of have to thrive in, the rejection, the stresses of promoting and the mocking self-doubt of the blank page.
What inspires you to write?
My relationships with people inspires me to write. I get ideas from the mundane and the profound all the time. I often feel like I am in the Horror movie, is it Amy? Where the girl goes around taking different body parts to create her own perfect person, I guess I am like that too. I take ideas and stories and physical attributes of people and roll them all into something else.
How did you conduct your research for ‘The Feeding?’
I read a lot of vampire fiction, what is popular at the moment, things that have been done, things that haven’t been done. I like pushing the boundaries of things to where most people don’t go, but to bring it back just enough.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“The taste of her flesh upon my tongue awoke a burning inside my body, I had thought long dead. She’s shivering under my touch, standing naked in the middle of her living room”. “Does a wolf care if a lamb is free range, or lives on a farm, or is a pet? Does the fox care how the hawk flies? All the fox knows of the hawk, is killing time”
“Half an hour later, Bizet’s most famous opera theme starts blaring from my phone. Ah! That’s what her name was again. I answer the phone. Her voice is hesitant, cautious, I know she is trembling. She barely says two words to me, before start my slow hypnotic control of her mind, her body and soul.
“Flesh upon flesh, breath upon breath, can you feel me inside you? Touch of skin, trembling begins. Feel my breath upon your lips. Heart’s beating as one. Can’t you feel, the elixir in my words, as my tongue, my teeth form those words.” “Y—yes. I can feel your words, my master!”
What would your friends say is your best quality?
My imagination and my quirkiness.
Are reader reviews important to you?
Of course they are. The only way we can make money and get publicity and become better writers is from a reader’s review.
I have just been accepted into the Masters program at Monash University, Australia, doing my Expert Masters in Communications and Media Studies, so I can eventually start my own literary magazine and business.
Tell us about your other books?
I mainly write poetry but have started releasing my own E-novella series, Tuesday Suicide, parts 1 and 2 are out already, part 3 is now in the editing phase. Tuesday Suicide: is a dark and twisted tale of bizarre love triangles, addiction, murder and psychosis. Natural Born Killers meets Requiem for a dream meets Junkie meets American Psycho. A faded TV star and his junkie girlfriend go on a killing spree, hunting down child molesters and stumble upon a paedophile ring that secretly runs the city of Melbourne.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I sing everything I write. Even when I was an under-grad at College, I used to sing my essays while writing them, to make them shine, to make them sharp. I did it with ‘The Feeding’ as well, I swear my house-mates must think I am crazy, singing and speaking the dialogue of my work all the time in my room.
Thanks for your time. Enjoy your reading.

Meet The Author of "All I Want For Christmas" Monica Corwin
The Interview
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I was 10 but not seriously until about 8 years ago. I wanted an escape and writing gave that to me.
How did you come up with your stories?
Most of the time something strikes me and won’t let go until I get it out. Sometimes from dreams too.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
Best: Seeing reader reactions.
Worst, promo. I am so awkward and bad at it.
What inspires you to write?
Everything holds inspiration. Usually thought it’s a snippet of a myth, something on TV, a story that sparks something inside me and begs for me to write it.
How did you conduct your research for Santa’s Naught List?
I have two stories in the anthology. One is called All I Want for Christmas which didn’t take any research really. The second is called The Last Christmas and that one I had to use the book I write previously that is in the same world to research it so I could keep it all accurate.
What would your friends say is your best quality?
Um..my punctuality. I’m not really sure.
Are reader reviews important to you?
Yes and no. I don’t stalk them and worry what every little thing is going out there. But, I do read them as sort of critique. To learn, if someone loved something, to keep doing that, or if they hated it, to stop it.
I have quite a few others books, most paranormal, some erotic contemporary. I like to take common paranormal tropes and turn them upside down so most of my PNR is a little off the norm.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I love my readers and they should never be afraid to reach out and tell me how they felt about my books.

He has to wonder if it's safe to tell Lexi about his family's secret.
The Interview
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing now for two years. I always wanted to be a writer but never had the opportunity or confidence to give it a try. I ended up taking the plunge after reading two really badly written novels, I figured I couldn’t do any worse than what they’d done.
How did you come up with your stories?
I have always loved reading paranormal romances, so it was only natural for me to fall into writing in that genre. I love all things shifter and/or Gods. The first book I wrote was Destiny’s Fate from the Dutiful Gods Series. It is based on modern day gods such as Destiny, Destruction, Dream and Death. I have a number of projects listed and I simply add to that list as new ideas come to me. All the characters are developed inside my head based on little idiosyncrasies I’ve seen in friends, family, people I grew up with or some I worked with and didn’t necessarily like.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
Like all some days are great and some days are not. The idea is to never give up, walk away for a short time on the bad days and make up for it on the good ones. One bad day may make me wonder, ‘is this all really worth it.’ One good day is encouragement enough to say, ‘Hell yes!’
What inspires you to write?
All the stories trapped inside my head, without letting them out for everyone to enjoy, I would probably go insane.
How did you conduct your research for – Bearfoot @ Xmas?
I used the internet – I discovered that a bears heart is a lot slower than a humans. I also found out there is a Tibetan snow leopard that is extinct. Snow Leopards can’t roar like other large cats, they chuff.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
I’d love to answer this question but to me that is kind of spoiling it for the reader.
What would your friends say is your best quality?
My sense of humor, my quick wit and my creativity, especially when I roll them all into one.
Houston – Book #1 Felan – Book #2 Tate – Book #3 Channon – Book #4 (Lupe – Book #4.5 - Part of Compilation, A Collection of Short Stories) (Ngyong – Book #4.75 – Alpha Shifters Seductions Box Set) Book #5 – (Coming Soon)

If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I put my socks on the same as everyone else – one foot at a time. Although it doesn’t necessarily mean they match.

Meet The Author of "The Prince's Secret Gift", P.T. Macias
"I couldn't bear it if I lose you too."
Tell us something about yourself.
I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. I’m married to a wonderful man that supports my crazy ways and writing. I have three grown children and four grandchildren. My family are my life. I’ve worked for the same company for thirty-four years.
Tell us about your writing process.
There isn’t much to my writing process. I have a concept and I write. I don’t use an outline. The story flows out, and my characters dictate where the story will go. I listen to their story, and I write.
What is your favourite genre to read?
I love writing paranormal romance with suspense
What would you say is the one thing are you most passionate about?
I would tell you that my passions are my family and writing.
Can you name something you cannot live without?
I would never be able to live without my hubby, children, and grandchildren. I will not give up writing.
When you are not writing, what do you like to do?
Well, lol. I love to spend time with my family. I love to travel and I love cruises.
If someone who hasn’t read any your book and they asked you to describe it (the elevator pitch!) what would you say?
My new release, Angels Of The Fallen Book Of Samyaza is an amazing epic story. It is the first book in a twelve book series. The stories are about all twelve fallen angels, their love story, and the ordeal of stopping the Dark Prince from taking over humanity before time runs out.
What influenced your decision to self-publish?
I’m a control freak and I don’t like the thought of giving up control in any aspect of my work. I don’t want to give up my rights.
What do you find to be the greatest advantage of self-publishing?
The greatest advantage of self-publishing is that you set your pace, you make all the decisions, and you keep your rights.
Conversely, what do you think self-published authors might be missing out on?
I believe that self-published authors might be missing out on the concept
With the number of self-published books increasing, it can be difficult for authors to make their books stand out. How do you go about this?
I work hard in promoting and growing my reader base.
Who designed your book covers?
I design my book covers and sometimes I ask my son, a graphic designer to help me.
Do you believe that self-published authors can produce books as high-quality as the traditional published?
I do believe that a self-published author can produce books as high in quality as the traditional published author. The self-published works hard to produce the story but also all of the details that the publisher usually handles, such as book cover, formatting, and editing. I believe that the self-published author strives to produce a polished book for the reader to enjoy.
Thank you P.T. Macias! It has been a pleasure, as always!
“Pain in the arse? No? How about loudmouthed narcissist? Wake up, Party Girl. You’re not unique. Everybody dies. Everybody feels pain. The only reason you’re important right now is because you need to fix what you let unravel.”
Hello R.L Merrell and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
Thanks so much for hosting this interview and helping us get the word out about our terrific anthology, Santa’s Naughty List: 25 Tales of Paranormal Bad Boys.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I started writing in 2009 after being really sick and having a pretty awful experience. I was a school counselor and decided to take the advice I frequently gave to my students: to write about it!
How did you come up with your stories?
All of my stories are influenced by the music I listened to at the time. Each story has some piece of my life or something I was passionate about at the time.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best? Being able to live new and exciting lives through the characters I create. The worst? Not enough hours in the day between being a mom and the day job. It’s frustrating, but I know as soon as I have a few minutes to myself, I can go crazy!
What inspires you to write?
Music. People I admire. Life experiences…
How did you conduct your research for your latest WIP?
I’m currently writing another short story for an anthology that will be out in April of 2016. My main character experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury and as a result suffers from Broca’s Aphasia. I watched a lot of videos about people who overcame many odds to heal, including the type of speech therapy that was used. For the same story I had to research whelping puppies! Heart breaking and heart warming research at the same time!
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“Pain in the arse? No? How about loudmouthed narcissist? Wake up, Party Girl. You’re not unique. Everybody dies. Everybody feels pain. The only reason you’re important right now is because you need to fix what you let unravel.”
“Never in all the years I’ve been sentenced to this job have I ever had such peculiar situations. It’s like you are so tied into them that they can feel you, even in death. How does that happen? What’s so damn special about you that all of these people can’t let you go? It’s like your life force refuses to be silent. You’ve been out of their lives for almost two fucking years, and yet they could still smell you. Feel you. Even on my own journey to acceptance, or whatever the fuck you want to call it, no one saw me. No one felt me. All I saw was life going on without me. ‘Bones? Yeah, a shame, that. He had the perfect voice, so much talent. Well, then. Who’s next?’ They didn’t even have a fucking funeral or memorial service! Just left my body out in the desert for the scavengers to pick at.”
His thumb traced over where he should have felt the side elastic of her knickers. There was nothing. He remembered her earlier confession. Bloody hell
What would your friends say is your best quality?
Easy to talk to, honest
Are reader reviews important to you?
They are in that they give me feedback which makes me strive to keep doing a better job with each new book I put out. It’s also so great to hear that one of my stories touched another person, that they “got it.”
I update my blog when I have time. I try to do reviews for the shows I go to as well, although I’m horrifically behind!
What do you do when you don’t write?
I’m a teacher, I run my kids all over creation to their activities, I love going to concerts and getting tattooed.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
It’s important to me that my books call attention to real life issues that many of us experience. I love being able to tell stories about the strength and love that get us through those tough times.
Thank you, Amanda for taking the time to answer our questions! Thanks so much for having me on! Stay Tuned for more of my brand of Rock ‘n’ Romance!
Meet The Author of "Forever Tied", Amanda Kimberely
King of the Vlads in "Forever Tied" By Amanda Kimberley "Raine and Skye hope their bond of love is just as strong in their next reincarnation where they hope to defeat Alec."
Hello Amanda, thank you for sitting with us. We love the opportunity to get to know authors and we appreciate your willingness to participate in this interview.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
My fourth grade teacher Ms. McCarthy used to let us write poems and short stories for extra credit. I loved writing so much that I used to hand in a story or a poem about once a week to make up for my math skills. A couple of poems I had written were sent in to the local newspaper and were published. I will never forget that first time feeling of seeing my byline. I remember going into a convenience store near my house and buying up every paper they had and before I headed for home, I sprawled the paper on to the sidewalk and looked for my poems and my name. It was something special.
How did you come up with your stories?
I don’t really know. They just seem to pop into my head randomly. I then write them down with an outline.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
The best aspects are developing your characters and watching them grow throughout the book. Getting to know the fans is also awesome.
The worst aspects of writing?
I guess I would have to say marketing because it can be very stressful trying to cram a lot of PR for a book into the first 3 months of publication.
What inspires you to write?
I don’t need inspiration to write. I just have a need to write. It’s like breathing to me. I can’t ever see not doing it.
How did you conduct your research for "Forever Tied"?
I like to research while I write. It’s an obsessive kind of thing for me. I can’t just skip over something and go back to it later. I truly have to know then and there.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“Her perfectly porcelain skin was being violated with a steady flowing stream of crimson from her forehead.” “I can’t lose you sweetness. You are my forever. You always were and you always will be throughout time.” “You and him are the reason I lost Obsidian! Watching him die is your punishment."
What would your friends say is your best quality?
I honestly don’t know. That’s never anything we discuss.
Are reader reviews important to you?
Yes and no. I try not to read reviews too often because I don’t want the opinion of the reader to influence my voice in writing. I find that you can quicker develop writer’s block this way. But I do like hearing what people enjoyed about the characters and the stories.
Cook, garden, read, and spend time with my family and growing zoo of pets.
Tell us about your other books?
Forever Tied is part of a series called Forever. Forever Friends is already out and Forever Bound will be out in early 2016. My other books are about Fibromyalgia.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I’m a pretty open book. A lot of my personality comes through in my writing, especially with the character Skye. I’m a little OCD like her and pretty self-conscious.
Thank you for featuring me today! I enjoyed our time together!
