Daniella Whitehorse
'She finds love in the last place she thought to look and with an Incubus at that.'
Please Welcome Daniella to Rukia Publishing with her story "An Incubus' Mate" and the box set it's included in "Santa's Naughty List".
Hello Daniella and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
Let's Get Started!
Good day all from England. My name is Daniella Whitehorse and I am the author of ‘An Incubus’ Mate’, the first in the ‘Mate’ Series.
I was born in England and that was where i have been raised. I am a soon to be mother and even though i do not celebrate Christmas, I love to write about it.
I have been writing all my life but when the author who set up the box set, asked me to write a book for it, i was over the moon.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing for many a year but only recently did I decide to try and publish my work, so an author from ‘Santa’s Naughty List’ came to me via Facebook and asked if I would like to write and publish with the set. I obviously accepted.
How did you come up with your stories?
I am disabled and I cannot work in the conventional way so I decided to try and publish my ideas, ideas I get from my Sleep Paralysis, a condition which means my body goes into paralysis before and after sleep.
I come up with most of my ideas when I am in that state as I think of ideas to keep me from 'climbing the walls'.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
I love all aspects of writing, from getting the first idea, to writing, to editing, to formatting.
What inspires you to write?
I write because I want to. I get inspiration from life.
How did you conduct your research for An Incubus’ Mate?
I love mythology so I already knew much about an Incubus and the female version, a Succubus. I chose what I wanted out of the mythology out there and created Gawain Merrick, a wealthy Welsh Incubus.
I also know much about Witches and Psychics as I have grown up around them all my life.
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be?
I am a Wiccan Priestess and a Druidess and I love everything paranormal.
Thank You Daniella!
Thank you all for taking the time to read this interview. I hope that you enjoyed my debut book and I hope you will stay with me till the very end.

Now Let's take another deeper journey into the life of the author with Five Questions we asked him during his interview.
Hello James! Thank you for agreeing to come back and speak with us again it is an honor and a privilege.
Hello to you and thanks for having me again, so soon, the honor is all mine. For those of you who don't know me here's a little information up front.
My name is James WF Roberts, I am 33 and am a Melbourne based writer and spoken-word artist, involved in the Melbourne poetry scene. Today we are talking about my Transgressive/meta-horror/erotic fiction series ‘Tuesday Suicide’. So far parts, or acts 1 and 2: Confessions and Spree have been released in e-book and paperback formats, available through all leading retailers, published through Black Beauty Presents LLC.
That's great James, Let's Get Started!!!
Tell us about your book(and series).
“Sexy, edgy, beautifully written with masterful twists and turns”.
Vanessa de Largie Australian Actress and Author.
Tuesday Suicide—the ultimate party drug has hit the streets of Melbourne. More euphoric than smack, more addictive than crystal meth—does Tuesday Suicide really turn you into a vengeful God, or is it all a drug induced psychosis? John Booker is dead! Or is he death? Fading late night TV star John Booker is bored to death with life. No drug, no sexual conquest, nothing fulfils him anymore. He wakes up one Friday with the clarity seldom found in the modern world... What would push you over the edge? What if you were losing your grip on sanity? What if you could travel through time, space and reality randomly without control? The first act of the Tuesday Suicide saga, Confessions sets up the narrative structure, sets up the motivations of John Booker and his only companion Helena Huntington-Dale—a dark angel of desire, lost, troubled, Heroin addict and the love of John’s life. As they embark on a drug fuelled violent and sexual frenzy through the streets of Melbourne on a quest for purity, justice and revenge. On the hunt for the leaders of a notorious ring, will revenge bring clarity and transcendence or will their blood lust know no end? Who can they trust? Will their obsession, their devotion to each other, be their undoing? And will Helena learn the truth about her best friend and drug dealer Ursula before it is too late? It is a strange hybrid book series, part police procedural, part confession, part women’s melodrama, part erotic memoir, with classical and philosophical allusions all the way through. I have been working on the idea of this series for several years, 2005 is when I first started writing a novella called Escape to the New Dawn, which became Voice, then became zombie zeitgeist, which became morte de poet then became Flesh and then I settled on the title Tuesday Suicide. The main inspiration for the heroin, Helena Huntington-Dale; Helen of Troy, the Arthur Legend, Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers, Rosemary West; but the most important influence on Helena would be two good friends and colleagues of mine, Rebecca Lee, who plays Helena in the book trailer and publicity stills I took, she is a model so it helps having a model as the basis of a character—and her personality is based on my mentor and friend Vanessa de Largie (Australian actress, writer and Huffington post blogger), who gave me a little bit of a blurb for Confessions when it came out. And John Booker is based on myself of course and the actual astrologer, soldier and mathematician John Booker who fought in the English civil as well as the poor unfortunate man, John Booker, the US Marine who attacked a base a few years ago. I like splicing things together. But the influences of the book itself run from everything, from Dante’s Divine Comedy to the American Psycho to Natural Born Killers, I basically set out to write an old fashioned anti-hero myth, a Hercules, Arthur or Odysseus for the Cyber age. It is extremely violent, sexy, edgy, philosophical and quite sad and beautiful towards the end and the end is not what the readers are going to expect.
What would you say is the one thing are you most passionate about?
I would have to say Transgressive art. I am not a person for rules or constraints, or boundaries and I am most passionate about characters and ideas that break away the bonds of limitations, the boundaries or conventions of form or style. People like Seth Macfarlane, Freddie Mercury, Allen Ginsberg, Brett Ellis Eaton, W.S. Burroughs and Vanessa de Largie have always been huge influences on my work and my life.
Can you name something you cannot live without?
Oh yes. Two very strong addictions, I know you said one thing, but for me it would have to be two things equally, coffee and cigarettes.
If someone who hasn’t read any your book and they asked you to describe it (the elevator pitch!) what would you say?
A very flawed man, a faded celebrity wakes up one day and thinks he is turning into the King of the Dead, the grim reaper. Imagine you were that man, could see and feel all the evils of the world, what would you do, how would you behave? Think of Natural Born Killers, meets Dante’s Divine Comedy, meets Junkie, meets American Psycho meets Requiem For a Dream. Imagine the strangest, darkest and most tragic love story, that is the closest you can get to where Tuesday Suicide inhabits.
Has writing this series had an effect on you and how you now live your life?
I like to think of writing, especially my style of writing to be somewhere similar to ‘method acting’; I don’t think you can be a writer without having some sort of neurosis or psychosis—and I certainly don’t think you can write dark and twisted, erotic, transgressive things like the Tuesday Suicide—without some sort of adverse effect lingering around. It sounds strange but I sometimes think that writers are more than just a little dissociative, I actually think that they inhabit the worlds they create—that writers create worlds and populate the worlds with real flesh and blood characters—and sadly that takes a toll on relationships, emotions, lifestyles and sadly one’s own emotional health.
This has been a very enlightening experience. Thank you for being so open and forthcoming.
Thank you Sarah & Margaret, it has been my pleasure. To my fans: Thanks for reading, James.

"Rarity From The Hollow"
by
Author Robert Eggleton
This novel won a Gold Medal from Awesome Indies.
The Book Summary
Rarity from the Hollow is adult literary science fiction with content that addresses social issues. Written in the colloquial voice of an eleven year old going on two million, this novel is not for the prudish, fainthearted or easily offended. It is a Children’s Story for Adults. Lacy Dawn is not a typical little girl, and if you think of her as such, you may be shocked.
She lives in a hollow with her worn-out mom, her Iraq War disabled dad, and her mutt Brownie, a dog who’s very skilled at laying fiber optic cable. Lacy Dawn’s android boyfriend has come to the hollow with a mission. His equipment includes infomercial videos of Earth’s earliest proto-humans from millennia ago. He was sent by the Manager of the Mall on planet Shptiludrp (Shop ’till You Drop): he must recruit Lacy Dawn to save the Universe in exchange for the designation of Earth as a planet which is eligible for continued existence within a universal economic structure that exploits underdeveloped planets for their mineral content. Lacy Dawn’s magic enables her to save the universe, Earth, and, most importantly, her own family.
About The Author
Robert Eggleton has served as a children's advocate in an impoverished state for over forty years. He is best known for his investigative reports about children’s programs, most of which were published by the West Virginia Supreme Court where he worked from 1982 through 1997, and which also included publication of models of serving disadvantaged and homeless children in the community instead of in large institutions, research into foster care drift involving children bouncing from one home to the next -- never finding a permanent loving family, and statistical reports on the occurrence and correlates of child abuse and delinquency. Today, he is a recently retired children's psychotherapist from the mental health center in Charleston, West Virginia, where he specialized in helping victims cope with and overcome physical and sexual abuse, and other mental health concerns. Rarity from the Hollow is his debut novel and its release followed publication of three short Lacy Dawn Adventures in magazines: Wingspan Quarterly, Beyond Centauri, and Atomjack Science Fiction. Author proceeds have been donated to a child abuse prevention program operated by Children’s Home Society of West Virginia. http://www.childhswv.org/ Robert continues to write fiction with new adventures based on a protagonist that is a composite character of children that he met when delivering group therapy services. The overall theme of his stories remains victimization to empowerment.

'Getting to know Varanasi'
Welcome back for the Eighth & Final edition of

"Fred's Diary 1981-second edition"
Travel in Time with Robert Fear~Book Excerpt Eight
'Getting to know Varanasi'
Irene and I sat down in front of a temple by a small tea shop on the steps which led down into the Ganges. There were a lot of young boys swimming about and I felt tempted to join them to cleanse myself as well. The Ganges is meant to be one of the cleanest rivers in the world despite all the ashes and bodies that are thrown in there every day.
Gayle went off for an hour or so. Irene and I just sat talking and looking at everything going on around us. Afterwards she re-joined us and we walked off on what turned out to be a massive window shopping expedition, which I enjoyed because it was so nice being with the girls.
I was in a nice mood and had a great time as we wandered through streets of shops and market alleyways. We were also shown to one of the three famous ghats by a young guy, who later turned out to be one of many silk designers. We looked over a site where they were burning about ten bodies at the time.
You don’t see much of the bodies except, it’s said, for the pelvic area of a woman and the chest of a man which don’t burn. There are some sorts of people whose bodies are not burnt, such as lepers, children and holy men who are thrown into the river in a sheet weighted by a stone.
It was all quite interesting and Irene even reckoned romantic, although I didn’t feel too sure about that. At 8 p.m. pleading tiredness we were given directions on how to get back to the lodge, and once in the general area we found a place to eat. After the meal we headed back to the lodge.
We hope you enjoyed this final segment of Travel Thursday With Robert Fear!

Hello Dariel and Thank you for joining us today for this countdown to Christmas special with 25 Bad Boys from "Santa's Naughty List".
Let's Get Started!
Hope everyone is having a joyous holiday season! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to talk about my novella in the “Santa’s Naughty List” boxed-set. “Gateway: The Meeting” is part one of the “Gateway” trilogy, and it’s my first full story written in first person.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I started writing in grade school, as soon as I learned to put pencil to paper. I won writing competitions along the way for fiction and non-fiction, but didn’t consider writing as a profession until much later, following a divorce.
How did you come up with your stories?
Most of my characters come to me in dreams, and I build stories and worlds around them according to the way they present themselves.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing?
My favorite aspects of writing are the means of escape my stories provide for both me and my readers, and nothing makes me happier than sharing them and hearing that my readers enjoy them.
The worst aspects of writing are shared by all of the arts – subjectivity and constant, often unrealistic scrutiny. In addition to that, the challenge of getting the word out about our books and developing a loyal readership can seem insurmountable at times because the market is over-flooded.
How did you conduct your research for –”Gateway: The Meeting”?
The library is one of my best friends. LOL I use the internet for preliminary research, then check hard-copy sources for accuracy. This time, “The Apocrypha,” (I have my own copy of it), and historical accounts of the Middle Ages gave me the information I needed.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
Red and green. Every freaking year I am bombarded by these hideous reminders…
I’d never done anything like this, so wild and spontaneous and maybe even a little dangerous, but I was drawn to him.
My body still convulsed with carnal pleasure, my mind a war-ravaged wasteland, completely powerless to control my body’s response as pieces of my soul started to find their way back to me, forming some semblance of order. I would never be the same.

Hey everyone!
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I think I came out of the womb with a pen and notebook in my hands! LOL I have always loved reading and writing. It was just something that I always did.
How did you come up with your stories?
Oh, wow. Well, they just sort of come to me. I will be daydreaming and an idea will just pop into my head. Or, I’ll hear a certain song and bam! A story hits me.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from your new release?
“So, you won’t bite?” “Not unless you want me to, Kitten.”
“Well, believe me, Boris… I’ll be making myself some stakes…just in case.” She retorted with a growl, and Colin couldn’t have stopped the grin that curved his lips if he had tried.
“Yes, I can see you not wanting to make it worse by admitting to her that she’s going to be stuck with your ugly mug for the next few hundred years.”
Are reader reviews important to you?
They really are. I want that feedback. Good or bad…but hopefully good!!!
What do you do when you don’t write?
Work, foster puppy mill survivors.

The Secret Santa
by
author Pablo Michaels.
About The Book
Waking amidst a cloud of white powder, Devon cannot believe what he beheld, an image of his childhood fantasy, a skimpily dressed hunk, portraying Santa Claus. The Secret Santa, Erik, taunts Devon with erotic gestures in conveying Santa’s message for Devon to be enlisted as a Secret Santa. Devon must perform certain tasks to prove his love and loyalty to his lover, Peter. Continuously appearing and vanishing in a shroud of white powder, Erik guides Devon along his path to attain his goal. But Erik tempts him sexually, especially when Devon is exercising to perfect his body for Peter on Christmas Day. Devon attempts to tell Peter about the mysterious Secret Santa but receives a disbelieving response. Through all the temptations and with approach of the big day, how does Peter react to the surprise Christmas Eve party which he did not want? Does Devon prove his love and loyalty to Peter?
So, you've seen the cover and read the synopsis...Now let's take a look inside...
'The Secret Santa'
Devon jolted awake from a deep sleep. Opening his eyes, slowly, he focused through a plume of twinkling, white powder to a stranger standing at the foot of the bed. He thought he was imagining this six foot tall man, sculpted like a Greek god. His head was adorned with a red and white Santa hat. His trimmed, snowy white beard blended with the long hair cascading down to his ivory, cropped hairy chest. Scrutinizing him more thoroughly, he realized he was not an apparition but real. Devon’s penis surged into erection, as he stared at the fluffy, red jockstrap, accenting the large bulge beneath. He couldn’t ignore the black leather suspenders attached to the waistband of the Christmas themed loin cloth and the shiny, dark, leather boots, stretching to his knees. He never imagined Santa Claus would excite him as this man did.
“Who are you?” Devon gasped, accelerating his curiosity into unfamiliar fantasies.
“Don’t you recognize me, Devon?” The man bellowed a hearty laugh.
“You look like the Santa Claus from my childhood memories.” Devon mumbled, secretively.
“Have you given up on the true spirit of Christmas?” The Santa Claus imposter smiled and sat at the edge of the bed next to Devon.
Devon’s right hand brushed a few strands of his unruly hair from his eyes. Becoming more alert, he focused his eyes more from the previous distorted vision. He turned to wake Peter, but his partner was gone.
“Peter left an hour ago. Don’t you remember he had to work early?”
“How do you know our names?”
“You still don’t believe?” The man smiled, his sparkling, cobalt blue eyes radiating erotic warmth.
“You can’t be the real Santa Claus,” Devon insisted.
“Why?”
“You’re just not. For one, you can’t be real.”
“Oh, I am real. Want to touch?” The man extended his muscular arm within Devon’s reach.
Devon wrapped his two hands around his biceps. “Okay. So you are real. Man, are you really real. But you are not Santa Claus.”
”Well…-no. But I’m a special assistant, assigned to help him.”
“You’re one of his elves, then?”
“No. Look at me. Do I really look like an elf?”
“Yeah right. You can’t be one of Santa’s elves. You’re too big. And the size of that bulge beneath your very revealing jockstrap would definitely eliminate you.”
“I’m a Secret Santa. I was sent here to rekindle your love and happiness.” The secret assistant edged closer, the bulge in his pouch becoming more pronounced.
“Did the real Santa Claus send you to seduce me?”
“Oh; no, no, no! You’ve been selected to be a Secret Santa, like me.”
He shimmied next to Devon, until there was physical contact between them. “I’ll teach you how to become a Secret Santa. I’ll reignite the fire of your passion with an exceptional power found in a special recipe from the North Pole’s almighty vault." Ultimately, Peter’s happiness will be restored. He stooped, rubbing his broad shoulders against Devon’s chest.
