Alternate Voices is a fan fiction anthology. I asked people to submit a story featuring the characters from my DI Frank Lyle Mystery Series. I have put the anthology together to raise money for leading UK charity Macmillan Cancer Support. I chose Wednesday 23rd September to release the book as it is the 7th anniversary of my partner, David’s death from cancer and the anthology is dedicated to his memory.
Not all the stories involve crime, but all have made splendid use of my characters and it was fun to see where people took them and how they interpreted them.
Other than my own contribution the anthology features stories by Tricia Drammeh, Joel Mark Harris, Gerry McCullough, Paul Trembling, Katrina Bowlin-MacKenzie and Caroline Lee.
