Every mirror has a reflection, and Sam’s Quandary is Jack’s. 5 Stars!
This “Prelude” is an introduction from the eyes of Jack’s love interest, Sam, from the time they meet until Sam’s father takes ill. Sam, being loving and gentle of spirit, longs to see his father and brothers. He is homesick, but Jack prefers their life on the farm and is in fear of tempting the Giant because of all Jack’s transgressions. All that said, I loved this true character study of Sam. The POV is Sam’s so there is an added depth and appreciation for the sacrifices Sam has made in the reflection of Jack’s responsibilities and love. This beautifully written prelude cast’s Sam as the protagonist of his own story but functions to add depth to both characters. It reminds us that every love story is about the bond, the affection, the sacrifices between two people, between lovers. One person cannot have a single dimension love affair and their partner has needs and yearnings too.
Sam is blackmailed into betraying Jack.
Every mirror has a reflection, and Sam’s Quandary is Jack’s. I loved this story but then, I so admire this author for his ability to spin a heartfelt tale with sweeping tangible descriptions and you will, too. I highly recommend everything this author writes and have long been an admirer and fan. ~MW

This was a very different kind of fairy tale. Jack and the beanstalk were the same, however, Sam threw a whole new dimension into the classic tale. After fleeing from the giant and setting up house on Jack's farm Sam misses his family and heads back up to them. This tells the story of their meeting and leaves you with a taste for their next adventure.
5.0 out of 5 stars A short sexy read from Sam's point of view was full of ups and downs but the constant was his love for Jack

PRELUDE TO JACK'S MAGICAL BEANSTALK AND SAM'S QUANDARY
by Pablo Michaels
This was a new and different take on this fairy tale that i haven't read before. A short sexy read from Sam's point of view was full of ups and downs but the constant was his love for Jack. The author really brings you in to see Sam's side of the story and how he saw his relationship with Jack and the characters surrounding them relationship. This m/m fairy tale captures your interest with the descriptions of all that goes on around Sam and Jack from the first to the last page.

Having read Jack's Magical Beanstalk, I wanted to read this prelude to find out answers.
I really enjoyed Jack's Magical Beanstalk. However it is always nice to find out what the other person in the story felt as events were going on.
Hearing Sam's point of view about the events helped add a different perspective to the story.
