Welcome to Rukia Publishing, as today we spotlight a new release from Bobi Sextun.
Who is Bobi Sextun?
By the age of 23, I had studied accounting in college and set my sights on being a C.P.A. I was on my way to an interview when one of those 18-wheel trucks ran a stop light and creamed my little Honda. I was knocked into a coma.
Three months later, when I opened my eyes, I couldn't bear the thought of double-entry ledgers and accounts receivable. I wanted to tell stories. Tales that contain characters that you care about placed in universal, relatable situations while having world-rocking sex. I write steamy, erotic romance. But my novels, short stories and novellas are chock full of humor, mystery, suspense and intrigue as well.
Tell us about Shalah
Shalah is but isn’t your typical historical romance. Instead of placing it in nineteenth century foggy England, the setting is a bitterly cold mountain near Siberia in 913. Instead of lords and ladies, dukes and duchesses, I have heroic and handsome Hemlon butting heads and swords with Rolfmuke, Grand Butcher of the Vichy Horde. Their passions burn white-hot to win the heart and soul and body of the beautiful Shalah. The costumes may be different, but the conflict is just as exciting, daring, lusty and, most of all, romantic and sexy.
Can you share a sneak preview with us?
Shalah has all the elements of traditional historical: suspense and intrigue, betrayals and betrothals, rescues and revelations.
Again, they did not speak for a long while. Hemlon was tormented anew by the thought that this was how his life could be if he were at liberty to live it. Lying with Shalah by a fire, his arms around her, his hands free to roam to his heart’s desire, his body free to make love to her. To make children with her.
To share each and every moment of his existence with her.
It was again Shalah who broke the silence. “You will be careful tomorrow, won’t you? I couldn’t bear it if anything were to happen to you.”
Reaching up, she gently caressed his cheek. She was not making things any easier for him. On the contrary, she was making them much, much harder. So much so that what his body wanted to do was beginning to argue successfully against what his conscience swore him honor-bound to do.
Clasping her fingers, he closed his eyes and kissed her palm, letting his lips linger there.
“You need your rest,” he said, quickly rising. “This may be a long and arduous day. I’ll be gone when you awaken. When I’ve made certain that Rolfmuke intends to honor the bargain, I will return for you.”
“Go to sleep. Goodnight.”
